Meet Zone 5 Chair Tammy Kinney

Tammy Kinney - Daphne, Fairhope, Orange Beach, Foley, Gulf Shores Lion Tammy, a proud Baldwin County, AL native has been a member of the Foley Lions Club since 2015. Since graduating from Robertsdale High School in 1983, Tammy earned an Associate of Science Degree from Faulkner State Junior College, attended Auburn University and completed two levels of management training with the McDonald’s Corporation. Tammy married Navy Petty Officer Jack Kinney and after his retirement they decided to settle in her hometown area of Foley, AL. Tammy worked for several years in the early childhood education field as a cook, teacher and site director and is currently the Executive Director of the Baldwin County Heritage Museum in Elberta, AL. Since joining Lions, Tammy has held positions such as Director, 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President and served on various committees with her favorite being the Le Tour De Foley Bike Ride that the club has hosted for 10 years. Tammy has been the club president for the past two years during which time she gained valuable life experience from fellow Lions and was recognized as a Melvin Jones Fellow. She was instrumental in getting the Pride of Foley Leo Club charter and is currently serving as the Leo Club Lion Advisor. Residing in Foley, AL for over the past 20 years, Tammy and her husband have 3 daughters and one grandson. Tammy has always enjoyed devoting her time and energy to her family and her community. With Lions she has been able expand her horizons and reach a rewarding level of service that seems endless.
