Bud Stallworth receives the Leadership award for bringing new
members in to the Foley Lions Club. President Rick Blackwell

Bev Norlin, a snowbird from Fergus Falls, Minnesota, visited the Foley
Lions Club. She and her husband have helped to promote White Cane
Day, a Lions Club fund raiser and blind awareness program.
The Foley Lions meet at noon at Wolfbay Lodge on the 2nd and 4th
Tuesday of each month. They provide eye exams and glasses for
needy area residents.
Lee Kibler,a water supervisor at riviera utilities, and a Boy Scout leader
from Alberta, spoke to the Foley Lions club. He promoted the boy scout
laws and the importance of leadership training for and by the youthful
boys. The Foley Lions meet at noon 2nd and 4th tuesday at Wolfbay
Lodge. The Lions provide eye exams and glasses to needy area
residents. support eye research, and sponsor the tour de Foley bike
ride in October.
Berkley Cirilli, a Foley High School English teacher, and chair person of the
Snook Youth Clubs board of directors spoke to the Foley Lions club about
what is happening at the Snook youth club, the Washington DC trip, the
positive effects of the club on area youth, and their next fund raiser , 'dirty
nites' featuring 'men who cook' at the Foley civic center May 4th, 6 to 9. $25
tickets are availible at the Snook Youth center. The Foley lions provide eye
exams and glasses for needy area residents, support the Snook youth center
and sponsor the Tour de Foley bike ride in October. They meet at noon 2nd
and 4th Tuesdays at Wolfbay Lodge.
The Foley Snook Youth Club director, Deborah Ferguson, spoke to the
Foley Lions Club. She talked about the trip to the presidential inaugeral
in Washington DC and the summer camp. The camp will promote career
paths in medicine, science, and math accompanied by execise and
fitness activities. The Lions support the Snook Youth Club, the Tour de
Foley Bike ride in October, and provide eye exams and glasses for needy
area residents. They are also planning a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.
The Lions meet at noon 2nd and 4th Tuesday at Wolfbay Lodge.
Linzay Shumacher, volunteer crew chairperson for the South Baldwin
Chamber of Commerce 9th Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon
Festival, spoke to the Foley Lions. She appealed for more volunteers,
and covered the events at the balloon festival.
The Foley Lions sponsor the tour de Foley bike ride on October 5th
and provide eye exams and glasses for needy area residents. They
meet at noon at the Wolfbay lodge 2nd and 4th Tuesday.
2013 Christmas Party
