Bub Gideons clubs are Bay Minette, Atmore, Brewton, Flomaton Bub is an Atmore native. He is a graduate of University of Alabama School of Law. He has been a Real Estate Agent for the past 23 years and holds multiple honors in the field. Bub became an Atmore Lion in 2014, since then he has held many positions in his home club including: LION HISTORY Elected 1st Vice district Governor 34-C, 2021-2022 Elected 2nd Vice District Governor 34-C, 2020-2021 -Club Director 2021-2022 -Zone Chair Section 6 -2019-2021 -President of Atmore Lions Club 2019-2020 -Club Board of Directors from 2014-2022 - Tail Twister (2020-2021) - 1st Vice President (2018-2019) - 2nd Vice President (2017-2018) - Membership Chair (2014-2015) -Tail Twister (2018-2019) -Eyesight Chair (2015-2016) -2016 Lion of the Year Bub is not only a Lion, but a pillar in the community. In 2013 he rallied citizens together to form a non-profit called the “Pride of Atmore” to save and revitalize downtown, since committing to this project along with others they have raised over $3.6 million dollars in grants and donations along with encouraging over 70 new business to historical downtown area. Atmore has honored him by naming him Citizen of the Year in 2017, Atmore Chamber President in 2016 and along with various board positions for the Pride of Atmore since 2013.
